Great Expectation.

The hen lays and hatch her eggs, until they become chicks, while human beings accomplish greatness by doing what is right.

"The law of expectancy states that, whatsoever you harbour, desires, and crave for, will manifest sooner or later."

This law is applicable in almost all ramifications of our lives. As we lunch into the New Year, I want to ask you the following questions; What are your expectations? What have you written down and plan to achieve? Where do you want to live or stay? Who do you want to marry? What type of job are you looking for? What type of friends are you going to have? The list is endless. Inasmuch as we long for these, there are paths we must follow, and there are habits we must develop. Below are A-Z actions that you must take…

  • Avoid the mistake of the past.
  • Believe all things must work out well.
  • Cultivate positive attitude and mentality.
  • Do the right thing.
  • Expel fear from your life.
  • Forgive those who have offended you.
  • Give your time, tithe and talent.
  • Hope: have only positive expectations.
  • Inspire others.
  • Join a professional class, seminars, workshop etc.
  • Keep to time.
  • Love, let go and laugh.
  • Mind your business.
  • Never give up.
  • Oppose negative thoughts.
  • Pray, plan and pursue.
  • Quench every fire of laziness.
  • Rest your body and eat well.
  • Speak kind words and shun evil companions.
  • Trust in God at all times.
  • Untie the rope that ties you to unbelief.
  • Vigilant at all times.
  • Work while it is day.
  • X-ray yourself if you’re still on track (personal check-up).
  • Yearn for the best.
  • Zero tolerance to idleness and idle speaking.

Now that you’ve gone through all these, you must believe that your aspirations this year shall come to pass. We are special creatures because we possess unique abilities, you must BELIEVE, speak those kind words, act right, show love, play your part, and I can assure you that by the end of this year, you’ll be glad you applied all that you’ve read.

It promises to be a great year, what you expect is what you'll get...Happy New Year!
