To Ask Is Not A Big Task.
I’ve
had cause to interrelate with people who were in dire need of something, but
somehow due to inferiority complex or fear of the unknown, they lack the
courage to ask. I’m of the opinion that these people don’t understand the fact
that what they need or want, could be given to them at the snap of their
fingers. Going by what is happening today in our communities, many have
relented in offering a cup of cold water to someone who is thirsty. I want to state that there are still many
out there, who still show love, who show empathy, who are considerate, who take
the risk to practice what they’re taught. I also want to
state here that it doesn’t only take one who is kind to assist a
folk or a stranger but it takes one who is sagacious i.e. such a person must be wise.
You’ve been out of job for months, why not pick up your phone and make a call, you’ve just graduated from school and you’ve made several applications, why not check your mailbox, possibly job offers awaits you, you’re not sure of where to get a product, my dear ask, you’re not sure of the course to study in the university or polytechnic, hmmm, please, ask questions. It will technically cost you nothing when you ask.
A closer look at these words TASK and ASK, shows that the letter ‘T’ is absent in ‘ASK.’ This is what it implies, ‘T’ stands for trust, you trust that when you ask you’ll receive, just as the Bible teaches us, “Ask and it shall be given unto you…” We trust that God will hear us that’s why we pray to him.
Fear is the number one barrier that hinders many from asking. Personally, I have cleared my doubts by asking. It is not a big task to ask. Voice out! It’s better to ask and be laughed at than not asking at all, don’t die in silence. People are not magicians to know that all is not well with you.
ASK could be summarized as, taking positive;
Actions
Sincerely
Knowing it will benefit you!
Have a great week.

Wisdom Keys from Mike Murdock.
These are wisdom keys for the year..
- All men fail, the great ones get back up. The only reason men fail is broken focus.
- Champions are willing to do some things they hate…to create the thing they love.
- Champions make decisions that create a desired future; losers make decisions that create a desired present.
- Each act of obedience is linked to a miracle in your future.
- Each small action today is perfecting a habit.
- False accusation is the last stage before supernatural promotion.
- God never consults your past to determine your future.
- If you cannot plan 2 hours, what makes you think you are planning your life?
- Losers make decisions that create a desired present; champions make decisions that create a desired future.
- Never complain about what you permit.
- Never spend more time on a critic than you would give to a friend.
- Nothing is ever as bad as it first appears. What you can tolerate, you cannot change.
- One hour in the presence of God will reveal the flaws of your most carefully laid plans.
- Order - the accurate arrangement of things - increases productivity. Productivity decides rewards.
- Patience is a weapon that forces deception to reveal itself.
- Patience is the weapon that forces deception to reveal itself.
- Satan always attacks those who are next in line for promotion.
- The climate you create determines the product you produce.
- The only reason men fail is broken focus.
- The problem that infuriates you the most is the problem God has assigned you to solve.
- The proof of desire is pursuit.
- The secret of your future is hidden in your daily routine.
- Those who do not increase you inevitably will decrease you.
- Those who do not respect your time today will probably not respect your opinion either.
- Those who unlock your compassion are those to whom you have been assigned.
- Today is your opportunity to rewrite your future. Give each hour a specific assignment.
- What you fail to conquer will eventually conquer you.
- What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.
- What you respect, you will attract.
- Whatever you possess today is enough to create anything else you will ever want in your future.
- When you let go of what you have in your hand, God will let go of what He has in His.
- When you schedule your events, you schedule your emotions.
- When you want something you have never had, you have got to do something you have never done.
- You will never be promoted until you become over-qualified for your present position.
- You will never correct what you are unwilling to confront.
- You will never possess what you are unwilling to pursue.
- You will never reach your potential until your priorities become habitual.
- You will only have significant success with something that is an obsession.
- Your rewards in life are determined by the kinds of problems you are willing to solve for someone.
- Your schedule and your spending describe what you really love in life.
- Your significance is not in your similarity to another - it is in your point of difference.

The Spanish drive behind Chelsea's winning record.
Chelsea have equalled Arsenal's record of 13 consecutive Premier League victories from the 2001/02 season and can break it against Tottenham on Wednesday night, with their Spanish contingent having played a major role in that winning run.
By playing 30.99 percent of the minutes during that run, Spaniards Diego Costa, Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, Pedro and Cesc Fabregas have been vital to the success of Antonio Conte's side and make Spain the most-used nationality in the league leader's team.
A tactical change has also helped the Blues to soar to the top, with Conte implementing a three-man defence after 2-1 and 3-0 defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal, with Azpilicueta joined by David Luiz and Gary Cahill at the back, while Victor Moses and Alonso have played as the wing-backs.
That defence has been the solid foundation from which those 13 victories were built, with just four goals conceded in that time, and Azpilicueta has been especially important as he has played every minute of this Premier League season - something that not playing in Europe has surely assisted.
Up front, Pedro's pressure, his four goals and his five assists have been incredibly useful, while Costa is the division's top scorer with 14 goals.
Fabregas, meanwhile, has been the least involved of the Spanish group, but the ex-Barcelona player has still conjured up some important moments of magic, scoring once and providing the final pass on five occasions.
Copa del Rey Round of 16 (First leg) @ Santiago Bernabéu
The Whites, who are riding a 37-game unbeaten streak, go into the game looking to claim an advantage to take into the second leg.
Zidane has named a 19-man squad for the clash, as he bids to see his side extend a run of form which has seen them go 37 games unbeaten and end the year as world champions in Yokohama. The Whites now have to continue on in the same vein, a sentiment echoed by the French coach in the build-up:
REAL MADRID SQUAD
Real Madrid kick off 2017 with a blockbuster clash, as the newly-crowned world champions return to action with an extremely tough-looking Copa del Rey round-of-16 bout against Sevilla. The Whites today face the first leg at the Santiago Bernabéu, with Zinedine Zidane's charges aiming to take an advantage into next Thursday's testing second-leg encounter at the Sánchez Pizjuán (9:15pm CET).
Zidane has named a 19-man squad for the clash, as he bids to see his side extend a run of form which has seen them go 37 games unbeaten and end the year as world champions in Yokohama. The Whites now have to continue on in the same vein, a sentiment echoed by the French coach in the build-up:
"We return to action and are raring to win the game, it'll be a great match and Sevilla are a very competitive team". The sides' head-to-head record really couldn't make for any more positive reading, with the Whites having prevailed in each of their last 6 Copa del Rey knockout ties against the Andalusians: in 1959, 1968, 1979, 1983, 2004 and 2011.
Indeed, today the Whites' coach celebrates his first year in the Real Madrid hot seat. Three titles (the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup) and several records (longest run of successive wins in La Liga, the club's best-ever start to a campaign and the longest undefeated streak…) are all testament to his success. His statistics are enviable: just two defeats in his 53 games at the helm.
The competition's top two scoring sides go head-to-head
The Bernabéu today plays host to the Copa del Rey's top two scoring sides. Sevilla netted 14 times in their tie against Formentera (five of which came from the competition's leading scorer, Wissam Ben Yedder), whilst the madridistas notched 13 goals in their two games with Cultural Leonesa (Mariano chipping in with four of these). Coming in behind both teams is Atlético, who have hit 10 goals.
REAL MADRID SQUAD
Goalkeepers: Navas, Casilla and Yáñez.
Defenders: Carvajal, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Coentrão and Danilo.
Midfielders: Kroos, James, Casemiro, Asensio, Modric, Odegaard and Isco.
Forwards: Morata, Benzema and Mariano.

Great Expectation.
The hen lays and hatch her eggs, until they become chicks, while human beings accomplish greatness by doing what is right.
"The law of expectancy
states that, whatsoever you harbour, desires, and crave for, will manifest
sooner or later."
This law is applicable
in almost all ramifications of our lives. As we lunch into the New Year, I want
to ask you the following questions; What are your expectations? What have you
written down and plan to achieve? Where do you want to live or stay? Who do you
want to marry? What type of job are you looking for? What type of friends are
you going to have? The list is endless. Inasmuch as we long for these, there
are paths we must follow, and there are habits we must develop. Below are A-Z
actions that you must take…
- Avoid the mistake of the past.
- Believe all things must work out well.
- Cultivate positive attitude and mentality.
- Do the right thing.
- Expel fear from your life.
- Forgive those who have offended you.
- Give your time, tithe and talent.
- Hope: have only positive expectations.
- Inspire others.
- Join a professional class, seminars, workshop etc.
- Keep to time.
- Love, let go and laugh.
- Mind your business.
- Never give up.
- Oppose negative thoughts.
- Pray, plan and pursue.
- Quench every fire of laziness.
- Rest your body and eat well.
- Speak kind words and shun evil companions.
- Trust in God at all times.
- Untie the rope that ties you to unbelief.
- Vigilant at all times.
- Work while it is day.
- X-ray yourself if you’re still on track (personal check-up).
- Yearn for the best.
- Zero tolerance to idleness and idle speaking.
Now that you’ve gone
through all these, you must believe that your aspirations this year shall come
to pass. We are special creatures because we possess unique abilities, you must
BELIEVE, speak those kind words, act right, show love, play your part, and I
can assure you that by the end of this year, you’ll be glad you applied all
that you’ve read.
It promises to be a
great year, what you expect is what you'll get...Happy New Year!
